This is the first and most important rule. Be respectful to other players and administrators. You should always keep in mind that whatever you do in-game, it should not infringe on others' capacity to enjoy the game. Do not send angry or offensive out-of-character messages because of an in-character subject or event. What happens in-game, stays in-game. Also, do not argue with an administrator because you disagree with an administrative ruling. Please DM an Admin to deal with the issue privately. NO TROLLING

Killing another player for little or no in-character reason is strictly forbidden. VALUE OF LIFE IS TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY ON THIS SERVER. Deliberately attempting to start a fight with no reason is also, not allowed. Going up to another player and insulting them in-character with the sole intention of escalating the situation to a fight is also not allowed without the proper roleplay scenario (bar fights, car accidents, etc.). There will be absolutely no Random deathmatches or Vehicle deathmatches. If a traffic accident has occurred while a player was hit by a car it needs to be roleplayed out with EMS and the police.

Players cannot use the in-game mechanics to steal another player's vehicle if said vehicle is occupied. The situation must be role-played out between both parties. If your vehicle does not possess a license plate due to game mechanics, you may not roleplay that it has one anyway. Any vehicle purchased from the dealership that does not have a visible plate will be considered registered as a recreational vehicle. These vehicles are for off-road use only and must be towed to your destination of choice. If you are in possession of such a vehicle on city streets will you be subject to being pulled over and issues fines and an impound. You are to roleplay all damage dealt to your car. You are not allowed to drive head-on into other vehicles. If you head on wreck into a stationary object with your vehicle at a speed above 45 MPH, you will need to roleplay that that vehicle is disabled for that situation. And also roleplay any injuries you may have received in the accident. You must report any accident with over $1000 dollars of damage, and the vehicle will be towed. Failure to do so may result in a fine being issued to you. Other examples of Power-Gaming that are not allowed include but are not limited to: Running in circles to avoid a tazer/gunfire. Wrecking your car at 60+ MPH and driving away or wrecking at 200MPH and walking away. Unrealistic driving in general (massive jumps, rolls, etc). Having a gun pulled on you and then not reacting properly (you cannot draw a gun in response, or run, or start a fight, etc) Basically try to role play any situation as best represented in real life.

Communicating information that your character does not know to others, sharing information via chat, TeamSpeak, Discord, Twitch or any other method, that other characters would not feasibly be able to see or otherwise interpret, sharing out-of-character information through an in-character medium, or taking in-character action based on information gained from an out-of-character source are all classified as metagaming. Only authorized legal organizations are permitted to use Discord for in-character communication. (Fire/EMS/Police, etc). Gaining information from another characters stream on Discord or Twitch will be classified as "stream sniping" and is a bannable offense.

You are not permitted to roleplay sexual acts, detailed acts of torture or dismemberment, cannibalism, or other extremely morbid activities without the express out-of-character consent of all participants. If you do end up getting permission, that permission can be withdrawn at any time. The roleplay must take place in private, far away from where any individuals who have not given their consent for this type of roleplay might innocently enter. If at any time you revoke your permission for Offensive Roleplay, or if it is being forced upon you without your permission being given, you may log out to avoid this roleplay. Please report it to an admin after logging out.

Players have the right to ignore other players' out-of-character discussions if they wish. However, players are not permitted to ignore admins communication or rulings. Do not avoid out-of-character communications with an admin. You may go OOC (out-of-character) for quick questions or troubleshooting needs, but please do so away from other players who are in-character.

Committing any type of obvious crime in a conspicuous area (such as a police station, hospital or any other obviously populated area) is forbidden. If someone has already committed a crime and the roleplay is taken to such an area, it may be acceptable. This means don't rob somebody standing in front of the bank, a store, police station or hospital. You can attempt to kidnap somebody in front or inside of a heavily populated area. Crimes committed outside of a safe zone with the sole intention of leading it into one will not be tolerated. We will allow crimes to continue if relocation into the safe zone itself is unavoidable, but attempts to abuse this will be met with swift punishment. Do not kidnap a player, and lead them to the airport to steal their plane. Do not kidnap a police officer to then demand they to release your car from the impound lot and etc.

Value of Life is our main priority. No player or organization is permitted to have "contract killing" as their sole focus. Specific players or members of organizations recognized by the community may be able to participate in contract killing if deemed necessary by an admin. If you want to kill a character to make room for another one, or if your character's death is a part of RP, killing will be allowed but an admin must be notified to avoid confusion.

Admin instructions or rulings are final but may be negotiated to an extent. If an admins ruling seems to have been made in error, the dispute should be handled outside of the game. Please DM HandmadePrism first for any issues regarding server rules.

A player name must be unique and realistic. You may not use the name of a famous person in real life or from history, nor may you use the name of an easily recognizable or already existing character from any form of fiction. Simply just be creative and don't create a character named "Justin Bieber" because you want to roleplay a superstar or a basic gamer tag like "RabbitKiller44". You need to have a first and last name. You may alter recognizable names so that they are still recognizable, but not spelled exact. For example: Beff Jezos.

You are not permitted to use a modification that grants you an advantage on the server. DO NOT install a game modification that alters vehicle handling, makes a vehicle faster, or gains you any type of advantage. DO NOT use any type of cheat, modification, plugin, script or other third-party game additions. If caught cheating you will be banned. In game use of the V-Menu (accessed by pressing "m") is permitted only for certain actions such as, setting personal vehicle (NOT stolen cars), opening the car hood, doors, etc. Admins monitor the logs for the V-Menu and if you are caught spawning in vehicles (besides spawning personal vehicle you deleted to keep server clutter down) or teleporting, etc, you will face penalties and could be banned for repeated offenses. Only use the v-menu for RP.

You are not permitted to exploit bugs for personal gain. You are required to report a bug if you find one. DO NOT abuse a bug that allows you to, essentially, spawn in money or gain any type of advantage that wasn't meant to be. You can report bugs in the discord., there is a channel for it.

Your personal characters cannot know each other from an in-character perspective. You are also not allowed to interact between the two characters. For example, transferring money or other assets between them (character to character or through a friend) without prior administrator permission, or whatever is transferred will be deleted. The only exception to this rule would be if your characters are family members and have the same last name. Some transfers will be allwed if it is part of the story but transfers that are considered power-gaming are NOT permitted.

You cannot rob more than $15,000 from a player. Assets such as real estate, vehicles, bank accounts, etc. cannot be scammed or stolen. Cash on hand and items only. Note that carjacking and temporarily stealing a car is permitted -- forcing a player to sell you a vehicle for $0 because the vehicle was "stolen" is, however, not allowed. You are not allowed to create an advertisement for the sole purpose of robbing any interested individuals. Conversely, you cannot buy a vehicle from somebody and then rob them after the fact. In the instance that you are robbing a player, you cannot kill that player unless they outright refuse to comply, provide resistance, or provoke you to inflict harm. If they are not following RP while being robbed, and you kill them, this must be reported to an admin, because VALUE OF LIFE IS TAKEN SERIOUSLY You cannot rob a firearm from a Police Officer, dead or alive, unless authorization is granted by a Admin and the roleplay is supervised. This type of roleplay will not be authorized regularly for the sake of realism. STORE ROBBERY: The police have SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for store robberies. They will arrive at the doors and assess the situation. If you are robbing the store alone, they have a much better chance of tasing you and then you become incapacitated and handcuffed. If you want access to a getaway car, bring a hostage. In exchane for the hostage, you will have free access to your getaway vehicle, and then a chase will ensue.

Your account is yours and yours alone. You are responsible if your account is used by another person, and by doing so, you link your identities in our records and may end up getting yourself banned for the other persons actions as a result. You are likewise responsible if a friend or sibling logs on your computer and somehow gets you banned or otherwise punished. Additionally, you are not allowed to sell, transfer, lend, or share an account with anyone else for any reason, for any amount of time.

If you are banned from the server, you are not allowed to register another account or use an alternate account until the ban period has expired. Otherwise, your other account may also be banned and your original ban extended. Please contact HandmadePrism to dispute the ban.

You are not allowed to kill your character, log off or forcibly re-spawn to avoid situations. If you have to log off but you are in the middle of a roleplay situation, you will need to inform all parties involved before doing so. This also includes police chases. If you kill yourself to avoid jail time you will still be arrested. If you commit a crime, you must wait 10 minutes before logging off, as long as you're not being chased.

You cannot make out-of-character deals for in-character items. You cannot sell in-character items for out-of-character items. You cannot give away items for out-of-character reasons. This includes the attempted sale/solicitation of items. This means you can't sell in-game items for real money.

You cannot use any healing items during any type of fight or roleplay situation where it would be impossible or unrealistic to do so.

Knowingly exploiting the script and/or the GTA V engine in order to gain an advantage is not allowed. This includes abusing the physics of GTA V in order to do unrealistic things.

Roleplaying as terrorists, separatists, intelligence agency members, private military, federal or foreign government employees, or similar avenues of roleplay (individually or in organizations) that would require entities such as the state or federal government to intercede are explicitly forbidden, since those entities are not generally present in the server. You may not roleplay a character from a movie, TV show, comic book, or any other type of related media. While you are allowed to take traits or inspiration from these types of characters, blatantly copying them to use on the server is not allowed. This includes both personality and appearance.

Police have to be outside of their vehicle to fire a weapon at a criminal. Criminals who are driving a vehicle cannot shoot while driving. Criminals who are passengers in a getaway vehicle are permitted to shoot at the pursuing car (tires, engine, etc) in order to gain an advantage for escaping. Please do not shoot directly at the officers in the car as this against the VALUE OF LIFE POLICY.

Do not use inappropriate/un-realistic clothing combinations whilst using the free mode skins. Any clothing combinations that fall under this rule will be removed.

Do not AFK on the server for any longer than 10 minutes. Please log out and return when you are ready.

Do not roleplay a character under the age of 18 years old. Your character will be banned instantly.
